I was looking for an exciting course of studies with reference to natural sciences. As I am not the classical type of student, I was only interested in a practice-oriented course of studies. I was even more surprised when I saw the add about the dual course of study in the local newspaper and the employer is only a stone’s throw away from my place of residence. After some researches about the company and the course of study, I applied at AERZEN and was very happy about the positive answer.
My job comprises two fields of activity. One field is the technical order processing of Delta Hybrid and mainly the organisation and the carrying-out of acceptance tests, including the communication of dates. The accomplishment of acceptance tests are extensive and varied. It is important to have the right feeling, communication skills and organising ability, in order to achieve the best results for both - customer and company.
My first acceptance test! At that time, I was still a student practising the dual system, i.e. part-time education and on-the-job training when I was asked to help out for a colleague. I was quite nervous as I did not know what to expect. Afterwards I was proud to have mastered this challenge!
One feels that AERZEN is a family-owned company. My colleagues are always kind, helpful and open-minded. Furthermore, I like my job, as my colleagues trust me and directly after my studies, I have been assigned a crucial task.
Having gained good experiences during the bachelor’s course, I would like to continue with an extra occupational master’s course. Thus, I would like to consolidate my knowledge in business administration and to qualify for management functions. Then, I believe I will have a chance to be assigned a challenging and responsible task within AERZEN group.
