Name:Training:Position:
Frank Biesemeierlathe operator, industrial master metal-cutter, technical business economistmanager production centre
My role model was my father who had carried out its apprenticeship at Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH and from whom I have learnt many positive news and information. Therefore, after my school days, I applied for an apprenticeship as lathe operator. After the employment test as well as personal conversation, on 1st August 1985, I started the training as lathe operator (currently cutting machine operator) at AERZEN.
After various trainings and continuing education in the last years, now, I am the head of the production centre at AERZEN. There, 120 employees provide for punctual production, assembly and packing of standard blowers and compressor stages as well as blower packages. My task is the organisation of accomplishment of customer requests in this range as well as the proceeding and conversion of the business objectives. With a management team, which supports me, consisting of masters responsible for production and controllers, we take care of personnel and order planning at the working places, shift planning in columns, personnel management, improvement processes, training and education as well as many other subjects.
There are, when I think about it, several experiences unique in itself, which I have witnessed from very close at AERZEN. These include in any case: the appointment as head of the production centre and most recently, the transmission of tasks/confidence as project manager of the Lean Management project “Aerzen Performance”. The participation in the future orientation of the company is a challenging, interesting and exciting task
AERZEN is a constantly developing company, in which each employee, who is committed to its work, has the chance for professional success. Moreover, social benefits, co-operative leadership and the solidarity of the management with the location of Aerzen can be clearly felt. These are enough reasons why working here is fun!
They had not been foreseen to this extent in the past, and, therefore, I just say “a lot is possible at AERZEN, I am looking forward to it”.
AFTER VARIOUS TRAININGS AND CONTINUING EDUCATION IN THE LAST FEW YEARS, TODAY, I AM HEAD OF THE PRODUCTION CENTRE AT AERZEN.
